Australian Vanadium Limited is bringing the high-grade Australian Vanadium Project in Western Australia into production. The company has a unique project layout, with mining, crushing, milling and beneficiation to be undertaken south of Meekatharra and processing to be undertaken close to Geraldton port. This provides an opportunity for an iron titanium coproduct to be shipped from Geraldton and high-purity vanadium pentoxide to be shipped from Fremantle for customers in the steel and battery markets.

AVL is also building a vanadium electrolyte manufacturing facility in Kwinana and through its 100% owned subsidiary VSUN Energy, is developing the vanadium redox flow battery (VRFB) industry in Australia.

AVL is at the forefront of the vanadium industry in Australia and has strong international connections including a partnership with U.S. Vanadium LLC. The company has agreements in place with some of the world’s leading VRFB manufacturers for supply of vanadium, vanadium electrolyte and sale of VRFBs. The technical knowledge of critical mineral vanadium processing inside the company is very strong.

The company has recently released a Bankable Feasibility Study and is now working to secure funding and progress through to construction and production from this globally significant primary vanadium deposit.
